More than zero civic engagement

Doing nothing is easy. It’s comfortable.

Doing nothing may let a small problem grow.

Doing something takes time and energy from other things.

… and doing something leads to?

It’s an open question because it’s personal. In this space I want to do more than zero civic engagement. Why?

I don’t want to worry about everything I hear on the news. A lot of bills are distractions from boring bills that make a big difference. Ignoring distractions is important. Being able to focus on priorities is a good thing. Constant panic is bad.

Also, what are my representatives doing? Commending the MOC Beagles is fine, but as the only accomplishment? There’s important stuff to do…
